It's school for my big brother

Monday-Friday! That means we have to get up and out of the house all of those mornings. Mommy would have rather had us at home on Tues and Thurs but everyone was in agreement that this would be a good transition for Luke. On the way home from dropping him off Mommy was telling me about when there were rainy days when Luke was a baby they'd stay in their PJ's all day. She was sad thinking about how we won't be able to do that (me and her). Life changes and everything happens for a reason. It sure would be nice to sleep in after Mommy and have a long night party:)

My Labor Day Weekend

I fussed off and on so me and Mommy hung out in the house a lot. We did manage to go with the boys for Dinner on Saturday evening. On Sunday, we went to Babies R Us to do some shopping for me. On Monday I made the trip to Wal Mart with Mommy and Luke. I am staying awake more and more and maybe that is why I'm so fussy in the evening. You know, I can cry for 3 straight hours- * I don't recommend doing this to your Moms!

Another trip to the doctor

I decided yesterday afternoon to pretty much give up on eating. No nursing, no bottle. Mommy started thinking something was wrong with me- it was just a feeling that she had. She realized that the last time I'd eaten was at Mrs. Diana's house while the older kids were playing. She thought about it and knew something was up. Noni came to take care of me while Mommy and Daddy took my big brother to his preschool. I ate a little bit for Noni but so little that she also knew something was up. If Mommy would feed me I'd spit it out. Daddy tried to feed me but I did the same thing for him. So, Mommy called the doctor at 7:00 this morning and they said to bring me on in. Mommy was right, it had nothing to do with the formula but everything to do with a bad case of acid reflux. I now have 2 medicines to take but I will be fine. For now, I'm most comfortable sleeping in my swing. You guys all send up a prayer for me that I don't have to go get an IV this weekend before the meds kick in.

The life of a 6 week old.

Not too much of anything. Over the weekend, I got to get out and about a bit. Friday, was a big shopping trip at Wal Mart for me, Luke, and Mom. On Saturday we went to church and out to eat for Dinner. We also went to Old Navy. I was a really good girl the entire time. Actually, whenever we go out I'm on my best behavior. Sunday morning we went to Papa and Noni's. My big brother loves going there and now I do too. I have good nights and bad night as far as sleep goes. My Mommy is trying hard to get me on a schedule in order to restore some type of peace in our house before my big brother goes back to school. As for my hair- it still has it's own mind. Each morning Mommy is excited to see what it wants to do for the day!

I am starting to smile!

I smiled at my Daddy when he got home from work yesterday. I smiled at Mommy off and on all day today. Actually, when Mrs. Diana and Noni told me I was pretty I smiled at them too! Mommy can't wait till I do it all the time:) But, when she wanted to smile today in a picture this is what I did for her.

This week....

is just flying by. Today Mom and Noni took me to the doctor with them. I was the perfect angel the whole time that we were gone. But- it took Mom hours to get ready because I would scream my head off for some reason she couldn't figure out. I enjoyed getting out with them today. Mom enjoys getting out of the house too. Dr. H gave Mom a small gift for me- a burp cloth that says "Delivered by Dr. Harrison". Mom is no fun, she says we are going to put it up and not use it. I intend to keep Mom on her toes for the rest of this week.

My special Day!

My Baptism was today and according to everyone I was stunning. Luke just couldn't get over how beautiful I was in my dress. My Mommy made it the whole time without crying. I was the precious angel from heaven during the entire Mass, Baptism, and party. A big thank you goes out to Noni and Papa (my Godparents) for throwing me the special party. Also, thank you BepBep for helping Noni get it all together, for my dress, for cleaning my house, and for helping Fr. Charlie. I got to meet a couple family members for the first time- Uncle Robert, Uncle Dick, and my cousin Blake. I also met a bunch of people at church that I'd never seen before but I slept through all of that.
